The Artist Michael McAllister 1980-present

Born  in Calgary on a summer day, Mike is the youngest child of 3 from Linda and Richard McAllister.

Mike finds inspiration in daily living for his colorful abstract paintings. His greatest joy in life comes from doing simple things and appreciating the family and friends who are close to him.   

Although born in Calgary Mike has traveled extensively and has lived in The United States, Mexico and The United Arab Emirates.  He studied Liberal Arts at the University of Lethbridge in addition to attending various other international post secondary institutions. 

For several years Mike has dedicated himself to working in the areas of social services and community development.

Currently Mike lives and paints out of his studio in Calgary.
